初中英语300动词，今天分享动词—— play
提到动词 play，相信大家首先想到的就是 play+the+乐器，以及 play+运动；play的这两种用法已经非常普及，很多小学生都已经掌握，自然难不倒初中学生；
但在初中阶段，还需要掌握与 play 相关的另外四个短语的含义，在阅读理解题型中有一定的出现频率，需要理解掌握！

动词 play 的用法：
1、表示“玩，玩耍”
play with sth. 玩...
play with sb. 与/和...玩
play games 玩游戏
Some children are playing on the playground.
一些孩子在操场上玩 。
She often plays with her friends on weekends.
她周末经常和朋友们一起玩 。
My sister is playing with her toys.
我的妹妹正在玩她的玩具 。
play with sb. 也可以表示“跟某人开玩笑”
Take it easy. I'm just playing with you.
别慌，我只是在和你玩儿呢 。
2、play + 运动类（球类、棋类）
其具体含义根据玩的方式决定；
play football 踢足球
play badminton 打羽毛球
play chess 下国际象棋
play Chinese chess 下中国象棋
常见的球类单词有：basketball（篮球），soccer（足球），football（足球，橄榄球）ping-pong（乒乓球）table tennis（乒乓球）tennis（网球）badminton（羽毛球）baseball（棒球）volleyball（排球）
3、play + the + 乐器
（中西乐器均可）
其具体含义根据演奏方式决定；
play the guitar 弹吉他
play the piano 弹钢琴
play the erhu 拉二胡
play the pipa 弹琵琶
play the drums 打鼓
常见乐器名词：piano（钢琴）violin（小提琴）guitar（吉他）drum（鼓），中国乐器直接用拼音；

接下来我们学习初中阶段关于 play 的另外几个短语，也非常重要；
1、play a part (in...) 与 play a role (in...)
首先，两者都有“发挥作用，扮演角色，有影响”的意思；
（初中阶段不要求区别其具体含义）
Education plays a key role in the development of Children.
教育在孩子的发展中起着关键作用/角色 。
Parents play an important part in a child's growth.
父母在孩子的成长中发挥着很重要的作用/角色 。
play a part in 还可以表示“参与...中”
= take part in...（初三学习）
Everyone should play a part in saving the earth.
每一个人都应该参与到拯救地球中来 。
He didn't play a part in making this decision.
他并没有参与做出此决定 。
play a role 还可以与 of 连用，表示“扮演...角色”
He played a role of a policeman in that movie.
在电影中，他扮演的是一名警察（的角色） 。
His mom played a role of both a mother and a father when he was young.
他小的时候，妈妈扮演着母亲和父亲的双重角色 。
2、play a joke ( on sb.）
= play jokes （on sb.）
跟某人开玩笑
He decided to play a joke on his teacher.
他决定和老师开个玩笑 。
She likes to play jokes on others.
她喜欢跟人开玩笑 。
3、play a trick (on sb.)
= play tricks (on sb.)
戏弄，耍花招
trick “花招，把戏” （初三学习）
"Trick or treat" means kids will play a trick on you if you don't give them a treat.
“不给糖就捣蛋”的意思是如果你不给孩子们糖果，他们就会捉弄你 。
总结：play除了+运动/乐器外，还需要掌握的四个短语；
